Online and local playback
Paste a direct HTTP / HTTPS video URL to play HLS live streams, on-demand video, or browser-compatible MP4 and WebM files. URLs without an extension default to HLS; you can also choose a format in Options.
Choose a local video or drop it onto the page. Files are not uploaded. Local M3U8 files reference separate segments, so use an online URL instead. After opening a video, you can add UTF-8 SRT or VTT subtitles.
Troubleshooting
HTTPS pages require HTTPS video sources. Playlists, segments, subtitles and keys must allow cross-origin access (CORS). Expired URLs, hotlink protection, login requirements, DRM or unsupported codecs may prevent playback. This player cannot bypass these restrictions.
History and privacy
The latest 50 entries, full URLs, favorites and playback progress are stored in this browser and shared across language versions. Disable new entries in Options or clear existing history. Local files are not recorded. Your browser contacts video sources directly and loads icon fonts from the Staticfile CDN. The sample video never starts automatically.
This site loads Google Tag Manager to manage site tags, including analytics. Data processing depends on the services enabled in the container.

Shortcuts work while the player has focus. Fullscreen, picture-in-picture and codec support depend on your device and browser. Safari manages quality automatically for native HLS.
